Get Involved & Volunteer!
Welcome back, everyone! We’re excited to see what this school year has in store for us. A group of moms started the Special Education PTSO in 2023 with the goal of creating more opportunities, support, and connection for our students and families—and we need your help to keep it going!
Our PTSO relies on families and community members who are willing to share their time, ideas, and talents. Whether you can help at an event, donate supplies, join a planning committee, or simply lend a hand when you’re available, every bit of help makes a difference.
You don’t have to commit to everything—we’d love to have you involved in whatever way works for you! And if you can’t commit your time but want to support the PTSO, become a member Here!

Mission and Goals
Our Mission
Camas School District Special Education Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (CSD SEPTSO) exists to equalize opportunities so every student is supported, included and accepted.
We believe this is accomplished by partnering with district administration, school staff, parents and students. We strive to provide support, information, resources and education. We connect, share, celebrate, advocate, and grow a sense of community and inclusion in Camas. We are a parent volunteer based group here to support other parents, caregivers and their families.
Goals
- Create partnerships between educators, parents, students and the community
- Provide support, information, resources, Awareness, Advocacy and education
- Create a more inclusive community where we can connect and spread awareness
Upcoming Events
Get-To-Gather Farm Pumpkin Patch. Tuesday, Oct 6th. Entry from 5-6 PM, event ending at 7:30 PM. 1913 SE 303rd Ave, Washougal.
Join us for a fun and inclusive Pumpkin Patch Day at Get-To-Gather Farm! This special event is designed for children and young adults with disabilities and their families and friends in mind. The farm will be closed to the public during our event, creating a more comfortable and welcoming experience. Get-To-Gather Farm is hosting the event in partnership with the CSD Special Ed PTSO, and we can’t wait to enjoy a day of pumpkins, farm fun, and making memories together!
